Tapit Jenallie, 30-1 on the morning line for Friday's Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks, will scratch from the race, her trainer Eddie Milligan told Churchill Downs officials Thursday morning. The reason for her defection has not yet been announced.
The scratch will allow Our Pretty Woman, trained by Steve Asmussen, to draw in.
Tapit Jenallie was coming to the race off a third-place in the G2 Fantasy behind Thorpedo Anna and West Omaha, and has a win in the My Trusty Cat Stakes to her credit for owner Willis Horton Racing.
Our Pretty Woman was last second by a head to Tarifa in the G2 Fair Grounds Oaks for owner Courtlandt Farms.
More information will be added as it becomes available.
